As an artist, Beyonce's work ethic is undeniable. However, this video interview is not about her music. The following video shows her alongside her mom bringing to life a vision they both share. One which was established to benefit women at the Phoenix House in Brooklyn, NY.
Everything I do is with meaning, and this reminded me so much of my mom that it brought tears of joy to my eyes. My mom instilled in me from a very early age to always be giving, humble, sincere, and thankful.
Whatever this video means to you I hope you enjoy it.
Thank you for taking this journey with me. The nights without sleep... the countless sacrifices... even the grind of going from DJ to DJ trying to get them to spin my music... it is ALL worth it. I love you more.
